"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever," - Psalm 107:1
Dear Church Family, as we step into the beautiful month of November, our hearts turn toward gratitude. This season reminds us to pause and reflect on the many blessings God has poured into our lives, some big, some small, all undeserved, yet lovingly given. Thankfulness isn't just a feeling for this time of year; it's a way of life for the believer. When we truly recognize God's hand in our everyday moments, our hearts respond with praise. Whether in seasons of abundance or hardship. God's goodness and faithfulness remain unchanging.
This month offers us many meaningful opportunities to come together as a church family: On Sunday, November 10, we will celebrate "Veterans Day" during our worship service. We honor and give thanks for the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication. Their sacrifice is a reflection of Christlike love, and we are forever grateful.
On Tuesday, November 18 at 6:30 PM, we invite you to join us for "Soup for the Soul." It will be a time of fellowship, warm food, and encouragement--nourishing both body and spirit. Bring a friend and an appetite!
Thursday, November 27 is "Thanksgiving Day", a special time to gather with loved ones and offer praise to God for His provision and grace. May our homes be filled with joy, and our hearts overflow with thankfulness.
Saturday, November 29 at 10:00 AM, we'll gather for the TCLBC Leadership Council Meeting. Leaders, let us come prepared to pray, plan, and seek God's guidance for the days ahead.
Sunday, November 30 marks the First Sunday of Advent, the season of "Hope". As we begin preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ, may we remember that true hope is found not in what this world offers, but in the promises of God.
Church family, let us choose gratitude every day. Let's speak it, live it, and share it. In doing so, we become living testimonies of God's goodness to those around us.
With a thankful heart,
Pastor Eddie. F. Collier
